About the Position: Work directly for the Chief of Construction with Headquarters Department of Army, Deputy Chief of Staff, G-9.
Duties
Perform critical program review across the broad spectrum of construction activities.
Establish project data to ensure resultant program meets Army goals and requirements.
Responsible for preparing the Military Construction Army (MCA) portion of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) instructions.
Supervise a staff consisting of program analysts, engineers, administrative and support team members.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must obtain and maintain Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information Intelligence Security Clearance .
- You may be expected to travel up to 10% for this position.
- One-year supervisory probationary period may be required. A one-year probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with providing input for the Program Objective Memorandum (POM); analyzing issues specific to planning, programming, and/or budgeting; and assisting with the preparation of budget and/or briefings. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).
