About the Position: Serve as the Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) Program Manager as the Army's expert on Substance Misuse capabilities for the Regular Army, National Guard, Reserve Components, civilian employees, family members, and contract personnel worldwide.

Duties

Serve as the Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) program manager by providing oversight of program. Responsible for establishing Army policies for substance misuse policies, programs, and/or practices. Conduct evaluation of present Army policies for effectiveness of Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) policies. Perform the full range of supervisory responsibilities of a multi-functional team.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.
  • This position may require temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 20% of this position's time.
  • One-year supervisory probationary period may be required. A one-year probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.
  • This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
