About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency. It is located within the Southwest Georgia Martin Army Community Hospital Patient Administration Medical Records Boards Located in Fort Moore, GA. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Supply Technician (MVO) that performs supply, customer assistance and customer service for the organization and serviced areas.
Duties
Receives, edits, and processes incoming supply request.
Edits requests for supplies submitted by organizational personnel to determine special supply action required.
Assures all records are updated.
Adapts quickly and effectively to new or changing situations and frequent deviations from established procedures.
Compiles and furnishes to supervisor budgetary data including justification for any unusual needs.
Ensures grammatical correctness of final reports.
Performs operator and preventive maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing customer service, ordering supplies, maintain log/registers, and receive incoming inventory. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-04).

Education: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages.
