Duties

Serves as a Health System Specialist tasked with the coordination and administration of conducting classes related to The Joint Commission elements and standards. Supports The Joint Commission Coordinator in accomplishing the long term hospital Joint Commission Accreditation Program goals. Receives and reviews reports to detect problem areas in need of further investigation. Uses database and spreadsheet software to record, revise, correct, merge, print and program material.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: assisting in designing and implementing the process to improve healthcare procedures; utilizing automated systems and databases to monitor, interpret and analyze data and create reports. OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Hospital Administration, Public Health Administration, or Health Care Administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
