About the Position: This position is located in the Defense Health Agency (DHA) under the policy guidance and direction of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs (ASD (HA)) in Falls Church, VA. Duties

Develops conclusions and recommendations for healthcare risk management issues analyzed. Assists with the preparation and development of briefings, reports, summaries, policies and procedures regarding Healthcare Risk Management. Analyzes data in order to provide recommendations to Healthcare Risk Management staff. Reviews, analyzes and coordinates Healthcare Risk management program implementation. Perform assignments in the areas of program review, analysis and evaluation for the healthcare risk management program.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
• One year trial/probationary period may be required.

OR Education Substitution for Specialized Experience: Successful completion of Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree that is directly related to the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience Substitution: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
