This position is part of the Interior Business Center (IBC), Financial Management Directorate (FMD), IBC FMD Tech Services and Solutions Div. The incumbent will be responsible for evaluating customer requirements, system enhancements, support operations and maintenance of both systems for multiple clients.

Duties
Provide software development support and technical oversight for internet Quarters Management Information System (iQMIS) application.
Provide interface development and support for Oracle Federal Financials (OFF).
Provide a variety of client services and counsel, quality control, documentation, and training.
Use Structural Query Language (SQL) and Procedural Language extension to SQL (PL/SQL) within Oracle Database systems.
Use Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Java, Java Server Pages (JSP), Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Business Intelligence Reporting Tools (BIRT), and Apache Tomcat in a Linux environment.
Qualifications
For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Specialized Experience:
At the GS-13 level, you must meet the following qualification:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level. Specialized experience is that which has equipped the applicant with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position includes experience in writing Structural Query Language (SQL) and Procedural Language extension to SQL (PL/SQL) code to run database queries and reports; using Oracle database systems to write SQL and PL/SQL code to support the Application front end; using Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Java, Java Server Pages (JSP), Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Business Intelligence Reporting Tools (BIRT), and Apache Tomcat in a Linux environment; and performing routine inspections and quality checks on systems to ensure they are at optimal performance.
At the GS-14 level, you must meet the following qualification:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level. Specialized experience is that which has equipped the applicant with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position includes experience in using Structural Query Language (SQL) and Procedural Language extension to SQL (PL/SQL) within Oracle Database systems; using Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Java, Java Server Pages (JSP), Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Business Intelligence Reporting Tools (BIRT), and Apache Tomcat in a Linux environment; developing software to enhance and update systems; performing routine inspections and quality checks on systems to ensure they are at optimal performance in order to make recommendations for improvements; training internal or external customers on issues, enhancements, and updates to systems; and performing project management activities related to software development , such as developing plans and schedules, estimating resource requirements, defining milestones and deliverables, monitoring activities, and/or evaluating and reporting on accomplishments.
