Duties

You will review pre-bid contract specifications for compatibility with administration of quality assurance methods and procedures. You will prepare quality assurance plans and assists in the preparation of contract specifications. You will establish inspection surveillance schedules and perform inspection of maintenance service contracts. You will document contractor performance; identify deficiencies; and furnish data, photographs, or other documentary proof of deficiencies to appropriate parties. You will conduct follow-up inspections as needed to effect correction of deficiencies.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or non-sensitive security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
  • You will be required to maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the 07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions and effecting resolution of problems related to fulfillment of contract obligations or responsibilities. Education


In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify based on an equivalent combination of education and experience as follows:

Master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related

or

A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience must equal one hundred percent.
