This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for administers programs and serves as the primary source of information for DSCU On-boarding, Government Purchase Card (GPC) program, Records Manager, DSCU Scheduler and Defense Travel System (DTS) administrator.
Duties
As a PROGRAM SUPPORT ASSISTANT (OA) at the GS-0303-7 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Serves in a role of Personnel Liaison Assistant for military and civilian personnel related issues.
Directly assists the DSCU President, Deans and Associate Deans in the management of all administrative support program functions.
Develops, establishes, updates, and maintains office procedures and records/files of various types to ensure effective and efficient operation of the office.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-07 grade level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service:
Serving as a government purchase card holder for an office or agency
Serving in a role of administrative assistant for military and civilian personnel related issues
Providing advice and guidance to staff in the organization on administrative, clerical, and procedural requirements; assisting leadership in accomplishing all necessary internal operations and office procedures.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
