You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the ACCOUNTING OPERATIONS DIVISION of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND ATLANTIC.
Duties
You will assist the supervisor and team leads with the implementation of new accounting procedures and policy changes.
You will process checks from clients and prepare for deposit. Maintain, log and identify when checks are posted
by Treasury.
You will communicates accounting issues with internal/external clients, highlighting areas of concern and/or proposed alternatives.
You will utilize integrated federal financial management systems to extract data, identify and resolve system problems, and maintain data integrity.
You will analyze, forecast and interpret functions associate with the management and control of resources or funds, tracking and controlling funds for special programs.
You will provide information about and interpret standard organizational budgetary, accounting or financial administrative procedures, practices and regulations.
You will assist in the formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, program and activities.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing and reviewing budgets and cost estimates to support program requirements; 2) Researching financial information and reporting summaries to managers; 3) Administering accounting systems to support special programs, payroll and benefits.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled.
