Duties
You will serve as the Limited Duty (LIMDU) and Disability Evaluation System (DES) Program Manage in the Manpower/CIVPERS Branch, Manpower Division, Management Support Department, Naval Computer and Telecommunications Statin (NAVCOMTELSTA), SAN DIEGO.
You will be responsible for personnel planning, oversight, and management of the limited duty (LIMDU) personnel to ensure full integration into assigned commands and to ensure personnel attends all necessary medical and administrative appointments.
You will plan and conduct comprehensive in-depth analysis, reviews, and provide assessments of LIMDU distribution.
You will provide technical guidance, identify deficiencies, and develop and recommend corrective actions to correct the deficiencies identified during analyses.
You will develop and recommend changes to command Limited Duty (LIMDU) and Disability Evaluation System (DES) policy and guidance as required.
You will conduct research and special study projects to resolve problems, change procedures or evaluate concepts.
Requirements

Qualifications
Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by:
*Experience applying vast management skills, program planning procedures and directives, and a detailed understanding of the command.
*Experience carrying out managerial and technical duties effectively.
*Experience utilizing knowledge in the fields of manning and military personnel assignments.
*Experience performing techniques of program research analysis, theories, and principles to develop new and innovative approaches to solving limited duty (LIMDU) personnel management issues.

Education
Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience, provided it demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position:
Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR
Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree; OR
Successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
