Duties

Conducts in-depth analysis of special operations aviation requirements, provides substantive input following review of proposed special operations aviation and ground materiel efforts to the materiel developer involving Research Development Program. Serves as the consultant to senior leadership within the organization regarding the required process and certain documentation needed to include entry of requirement solutions into JCIDS or SOFCIDS. Participate in meetings to obtain special operations aviation data and information that impact required document development and offers feedback to meet customer needs and requirements. Review new or changed procedures, policies, regulations, laws, etc. affecting assigned responsibilities for a command.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This is a drug testing designated position. In accordance with AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, the incumbent must successfully pass a urinalysis screening prior to the appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 20% of the time.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes : Coordinating, gathering, and incorporating large amounts of different aviation data to identify disparities and propose appropriate solutions on aviation programs; Planning aviation funding projections, travel requirements, personnel, equipment, and work requirements for an aviation organization; and utilizes capabilities integration and development systems to produce initial, development and production capabilities documents for an aviation organization.
