About the Position: This position is with HQDA, DCS G-9 Installation Services Directorate, Environmental Division located in Arlington, VA.

Duties

Serve as a Senior Environmental Advisor in the Environmental Division under the Installation Services Directorate, Deputy Chief of Staff, G-9. Develop policy implementation guidance and instructions for programs within installations, facilities and activities throughout the Department of Army. Execute for the Army Staff coordination on matters such as conservation, compliance, and integration, including (National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA). Perform data analytics of environmental protection and administrative data contained within agency systems.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must obtain and maintain secret clearance.
  • Temporary Travel Duty (TDY) may be required up to 10%.
