You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Training Command (TRNGCMD) of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.
Duties
You will analyze production data in order to assist in decision making.
You will analyze and interpret student tracking data resident in established databases.
You will coordinate and facilitate TRNGCMD entry level training production planning in conjunction with members of the Street to Fleet team for over 30,000 annual accessions and 100,000 Marines.
You will lead multiple working groups and operational planning teams (OPT) in order to identify production barriers and provide solutions across multiple commands within the USMC.
You will advise the Deputy PM Section head, PM Section Head and Assistant Chief of Staff G-3 on matters relating to production and Street to Fleet issues.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required
Qualifications
GS-12
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing production data and providing predictive analytics to identify barriers, shortfall or overages in a military training environment; experience working with the Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS); and knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods, techniques, systems and processes used in the manpower management and Entry Level Training (ELT) pipeline.
GS-11
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing production data and providing predictive analytics to identify barriers, shortfall or overages in a military training environment; experience working with the Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS); and knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods, techniques, systems and processes used in the manpower management and Entry Level Training (ELT) pipeline.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify for the GS-11 position based on education OR equivalent combination of experience and education as follows:
Have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
OR
Have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
