About the Position: The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12 to 13. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities.
Duties
As the Subject Matter Expect (SME), leads a team of personnel performing supply duties.
Supports the planning, development, implementation, and management of effective and affordable product support strategies for supply and maintenance throughout the life cycle for weapons materiel or information systems.
Supports and addresses supply and maintenance planning impact to system cost, schedule, performance, life cycle management and supportability requirements.
Develops and reviews program scope of work, determining the necessary level of repair, completing cost estimates, verifying funding availability, supporting funding coordination for repair programs with upgrades.
Leads working level commodity reviews and Sales and Operations Planning (SOP) meetings with other supply chain functions and sustainment teams to review supply plans, collect additional data, and assess performance.
Maintains team process and administrative reference materials, project files and relevant background documents and make available policies, procedures, and written instructions from the supervisor.
Requirements

Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-02). Specialized experience: Experience utilizing Logistics Modernization Program Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system or similar tools to ensure that Organic Industrial Base Sourcing (OIB) plans and inputs are accurate. Experience implementing strategies and process improvements utilizing data analytics. Experience providing support for supply and maintenance throughout the life cycle for weapons, materiel, or information systems. Experience interpreting guidance and reports to explain and defend decisions to stakeholders.
