About the Position: This This is a vacancy for a SUPV Information Technology Specialist (Network) position located in the U.S Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC) in Fort Belvoir, VA.
Duties
Senior group leader responsible for administrative supervision.
Oversees the execution of technical, administrative and personnel management responsibilities related to the accomplishment of the mission assigned.
Plans the work to be accomplished, sets and adjusts priorities, and prepares work schedules.
Provides technical support, advice, and guidance for preparation of information system plans, systems design plans, and specifications for major Army and DoD information and telecommunications systems.
Applies broad information technology knowledge and extensive experience with information systems.
Provides expertise the Army, and other DoD organizations that directly support the Army when deployed in support of joint task force missions and operations.
Track commitments, obligation and status of funding reports.
Manages systems and local, campus and wide area networks.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position is designated Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance with Secret Sensitive.
- This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- This position requires temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.
- This position requires an Official Passport with no travel restrictions.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.

- One year trial/probationary period may be required.

This supervisory position is subject to a salary control point equivalent to the GS-15, step 06 base salary, or if the incumbent's salary current exceeds the GS-15, step 06 level the incumbent's salary will be put on a salary control point at the incumbents existing salary.

Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.
Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-03). Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Leading technological efforts of other IT personnel in the analysis and development of unified network design and related emerging technologies (e.g., 5G, zero-trust principles, software defined networking); 2) Developing and applying policy in the delivery of multi-discipline and multi-domain network services; AND 3) Managing critical and complex projects pertaining to strategic and tactical network technology and communications systems.

In addition to meeting the experience requirement above, applicants must also possess the following IOR requirement:
