You will serve as a OPSEC PROGRAM SPECIALIST in the OPERATIONS DIRECTORATE (N3) of COMNAVSPECWARDEVGRU.
Duties
You will conduct independent studies, and analysis and evaluation of information from multiple sources, to accomplish research and special projects for short and long-term objectives.
You will maintain comprehensive visibility of emerging trends and knowledge of commercial applications for data discovery.
You will ensure OPSEC measures are continuously updated in order to adapt to changes in the operational environment and mitigate constantly evolving threats.
You will review command policies and programs for possible OPSEC concerns and equities.
You will provide pre-deployment/employment OPSEC awareness briefs and products to assigned departmental personnel that is commensurate with their anticipated duties and responsibilities.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is subject to random counterintelligence scope polygraph examinations.
- You will be required to report to the command when requested.
Qualifications
GS-11:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Researching, identifying, analyzing risk to command personnel, equipment, operations AND analyzing/evaluating information from multiple sources to accomplish research projects for short/long term objectives.
GS-09:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting with researching, identifying, analyzing risk to command personnel, equipment, operations AND analyzing/evaluating information from multiple sources to accomplish research projects for short/long term objectives.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-11:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
GS-09:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
