About the Position: This Program Manager is located at U.S. Army Operational Test Command, G1 with duty location of Fort Cavazos, Texas. (merit)

Duties

Coordinate the work of a staff of employees such as civilian and military personnel. Present technical information to the Command Group. Assign work to subordinates based on priorities. Manage a multidisciplinary effort that conducts a command-wide analysis of strategic planning.

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • Position may require overnight travel away from the duty station of up to 25%.
  • This position description is designated for a "Mission essential employee" for continuity of government operations (COOP); meaning that this incumbent will be required to report for CONUS related duty during an emergency at an offsite location.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
  • One-year trial/probationary period may be required.
