Duties
Coordinate the work of a staff of employees such as civilian and military personnel.
Present technical information to the Command Group.
Assign work to subordinates based on priorities.
Manage a multidisciplinary effort that conducts a command-wide analysis of strategic planning.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- Position may require overnight travel away from the duty station of up to 25%.
- This position description is designated for a "Mission essential employee" for continuity of government operations (COOP); meaning that this incumbent will be required to report for CONUS related duty during an emergency at an offsite location.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
- One-year trial/probationary period may be required.
