About the Position: This Program Manager is located at U.S. Army Operational Test Command, Capabilities Integrated Division with duty location of Fort Cavazos, Texas. (merit)
Duties
Serve as the Division Chief of the Test Division in the USAOTC G3 Directorate.
Serve as the subject matter expert in operational testing for the organization.
Report if operational testing processes within the acquisition process are executed according to published policy.
Develop Operational Test Command's strategic plans for the entire organization.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- The duties of this position require up to 25% temporary duty (TDY) travel.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Conduct analysis on operational test information to provide recommendations; 2) Develop operational testing program milestones; AND 3) Develop studies to improve test capabilities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower level/grade position in the federal service (NH-03/GS-13).
