About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25.
This position is with 7th Signal Command, 21st Signal Brigade, 114th Signal Battalion, located in Adams, Pennsylvania.
Duties
Serve as senior management analyst, supervisor, and consultant to the Battalion Commander, management staffs, and subordinates on all resource programs.
Serve as first and second line supervisor responsible for managing personnel engaged in the planning, directing, implementing, and servicing a myriad of personnel and resource management services.
Serve as the principal action officer for the planning and application of the Battalion's RMIC Program and Privacy Act RMF Controls and evaluate implementation through the entire battalion for numerous disciplines/programs.
Serve as Battalion Privacy Act Coordinator/ Compliance Manager.
Provide technical and administrative supervision to a staff in four separate functional elements, including the supervision of first/second line supervisory personnel.
Responsible for the execution of administration and civilian personnel management related to the accomplishment of the mission assigned.
As Battalion S1/Resources Director provides overall management, training, and direction of the full range of military personnel operations to include strength management, personnel slotting, military personnel actions, personnel, and legal services.
Plan and direct day-to-day operations of all budget functions for the 114th Signal Battalion.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top-Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- Incumbent may be required to work overtime and other than normal duty hours which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Call back and emergency duty are regular requirements of this position.
- This position is subject to alert and operational recall and periodic work schedule changes to meet daily mission operational requirements.
- Incumbent is required to provide a reliable method of contact/communication (telephone/pager) and respond within 1 hour of notification receipt.
