About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. You may need to complete a 3 year probationary period, if applicable.
This position is located in Adams, PA with the 7th SIG CMD (T) 21st SIG BDE 114th SIG BN.
Duties
Work collaboratively with IT service centers and Subject Matter Experts functional specialists with the Battalion and external components to obtain necessary support for Service Level Management.
Interview personnel and research records, reports, functional statements, operating regulations and directives to gather, correlate, analyze, determine and recommend action to resolve issues and improve the efficiency or economy of operations.
Plan and conduct complicated, comprehensive analytical studies of significant segments of major management functions to improve organizational productivity, functions, and processes.
Manage the Battalion Agreements Program with management controls inspected annually as part of the Command Inspection Program.
Maintain a complete inventory of all agreements, both current and proposed.
Enforce compliance as a change approver for all changes requests submitted by customers for compliance with established agreements, policies and procedures.
Manage Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls for Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Services (EMASS) accounts for corrective actions.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access for the duration of employment.
- This position is designated as Key. The position cannot be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization without seriously impairing the mission.
- This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain the appropriate Information Assurance certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, within 6 months of entry onto duty.
- Position requires a pre-employment physical due to lifting up to 50 pounds.
