You will serve as a Financial Analyst supporting the DPSS IPT in Corporate Business & Analysis Group, Program & Business Analysis Dept, Product Support Analysis Div, SW & Mission Integr Br of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Duties

You will be responsible for a wide variety of analytical, technical, and administrative functions. You will review and evaluate budget requests and report obligations and expenditures. You will resolve day-to-day funding and programming issues as they pertain to the execution of the current fiscal year budget. You will provide management support and advice on manpower resourcing, financial status, alternatives, and issues.

Qualifications

(DA-04): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9/10) or pay band (DA-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Extracting information from Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP) or similar financial system and performing data analysis; 2) Experience with budget development, financial tracking, planning, and analysis; 3) Interpreting budgetary policies, procedures, and regulations. (DA-03): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-5/8) or pay band (DA-02) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Assisting with financial analysis and interpretation and evaluation of funding plans; 2) Tracking funding, validating expenses, reviewing transactions in accounting system, and reconciling accounts; 3) Assisting in making recommendations for financial data corrections.
