You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY) in the RESERVE PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION DIVISION (PERS-9) of NMPCRES.
Duties
You will respond to customer inquiries by researching human resources rules or regulations.
You will manage applicant data using software programs (e.g., Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, or similar software application).
You will interview personnel to obtain information required to complete records or correct discrepancies.
You will interpret military reserve personnel regulations and instructions to determine their impact on an organization's policies and procedures.
You will select the appropriate guidelines, references, or procedures for application to resolve specific problems.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge of human resources concepts, principles, and management processes to support Navy Reserve officers and enlisted personnel; 2) Displaying a keen understanding of the content and format of officer and enlisted records and the computer systems to manage them; 3) Preparing Navy documents and correspondence for release by the designated authority; and 4) Reviewing supporting documents to ensure authentication, accuracy, and in compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and precedents.
