You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Material Science & Component Technology Directorate of NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY.
Duties
You will be responsible for the management of major contracts including the distribution and tracking of funds, the preparation of contract modifications, tracking deliverables and the posting of costs to the Laboratory's procurement system.
You will participate in technical activities to collect and assemble data for administering and evaluating cost schedule performance.
You will assist in the reviewing of funding documents related to contracting efforts for the division.
You will calculate all charges associated with each program task (e.g. , labor accruals, equipment, fee, etc.) to project funding needs.
You will receive all accrual request that come into the Division and disperse them out in the associated branch.
You will procure needed material and advise company requirements for credit card purchases.
Requirements

- This position is considered Key/Non-Combat Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support of the expeditionary requirements in other than combat or combat support situations.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-01/04) or pay band (NO-01) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience shows the ability to 1) analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2) plan and organize work and; 3) communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Successfully completed a four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree
or
A combination of experience and education
