You will serve as the Deputy Director of Wargaming in the Wargaming Division, Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory, under the Deputy Commandant for Combat Development and Integration.
Duties
With the Director of Wargaming Division, you will lead and manage a mixed Civilian/Military/Contractor workforce up to approximately 180 personnel in the conduct of the US Marine Corps Wargaming program.
You will handle all aspects of performance management and career development, to include rules and regulations concerning civilian timecard management, awards and other performance incentives.
You will utilize the Marine Corps performance evaluation system.
You will directly coordinate fiscal and manpower requirements with higher headquarters to include recruitment and staffing initiatives for the Division.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Lead and manage a mixed Civilian/Military/Contractor workforce and intimately familiar with all aspects of performance management and career development, to include rules and regulations concerning civilian timecard management, awards and other performance incentives; 2) Understanding of the Marine Corps performance evaluation system; 3) Manage contract personnel; 4) Expert-level knowledge of staff functions such as the administration of travel regulations, PPB&E, program management, and others; 5) Familiarity with Wargaming.
