About the Position: The position is located with U.S. Army Sustainment Command, 404TH Army Field Support Brigade Log Readiness CTR, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.

Duties

Prepare written direction for Command or higher headquarters approval for inadequate security policy guidance. Identify security related issues for inclusion in the budget. Maintain current information on physical security equipment. Coordinate command-wide programs relative to physical security. Monitor Major Construction Army (MCA) projects related to security of installations to insure that regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Position requires to obtain and maintain Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) within their first two years of employment.
• Position has been designated as a Mission Essential.
• Position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
• Position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
• This position may require to travel (TDY) up to 10% of the time.
