Duties
Serves as Branch Chief in the Data Processes Division, DLA Logistics Information Services.
Responsible for functional oversight and management of the various systems and applications contained within Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS) Portfolio as well as exercising supervisory responsibilities for subordinate employees.
Exercises overall responsibility for managing, coordinating, resourcing and directing Federal/DoD/NATO sponsored programs and/or projects that require centralized oversight.
Responsible for tactical planning, customer engagement and communication for the advancement of logistics data improvements to meet worldwide customer requirements.
Exercises independent professional knowledge and judgment to assure effective planning, development and program management.
Plans work operations, resource and equipment needs, training needs, and career development.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory Logistics Systems Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Developing mid and long-range project plans and provides central oversight for functional enhancements to applicable systems.
Experience overseeing the execution of business requirements evaluation and prioritization, user acceptance testing, documentation and change management.
Participate in establishing program objectives, priorities, needs and plans.
Participate in establishing policies, internal objectives and goals for completion of mission requirements.
Skills in conflict management and negotiations.
