About the Position: Position oversees and implements the Installation Management Command (MCOM) Directorate-Sustainment (ID-S) Civilian Professional Development Program. Program includes assessment, design, and implementation of command-wide strategic needs integrating employee development in consonance with strategic plans, oversight of long-term and leadership development programs and evaluation and implementation of various workforce training needs.
Duties
Ensure development of organizational workforce requirements, developmental functions, including developing recommendations for improving complex workforce development processes.
Perform full range of personnel activities, to include work involving the performance evaluation and award program for both military and civilian personnel.
Oversee and implement the IMCOM Civilian Professional Development Program to include assessment, design, and implementation of command wide strategic needs.
Oversee various talent management programs.
Advise ID-S and garrison personnel on procedural and policy matters pertaining to broad range of workforce development functions.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 25% of the time.

Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) overseeing and implementing the Installation Management Command (MCOM) Directorate-Sustainment (ID-S) Civilian Professional Development Program; (2) assessment, designing, and implementing command-wide strategic needs integrating employee development in consonance with strategic plans; (3) oversight of long-term and leadership development programs; and (4) evaluation and implementation of various workforce training needs.
