Duties

Lead the ISO Quality Management System, standards and practices to include development of processes and process controls in compliance with ISO standards. Support Project Team Leaders with coordination across CBC to efficiently process customer agreements, funding transfers, project documentation and tracking, and project metrics. Thorough knowledge of quality management principles, ISO quality procedures, auditing techniques, statistical methods, and trend analyses.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance.
  • Temporary duty (TDY) travel is required up to 25% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) coordinating the implementation of the administrative and management operations for a large organization; 2) analyzing information to recommend actions; and 3) knowledge of quality management principles, auditing techniques, statistical methods, and trend analyses.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (DE-02/GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Planning and EvaluatingProject ManagementTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11) This is a Temporary Promotion/detail position. Temporary promotions may be extended in up to five-year increments for candidates who are current permanent Army employees and may be made permanent without further competition. Prior to extending a temporary promotion, management will decide if the work/services continue to be temporary in nature or should be made permanent. Temporary details may be extended for an additional year.
