You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the READINESS AND ANALYTICS BRANCH (PD413) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, located in Port Hueneme, CA.

Duties

You will be responsible for directing, developing and/or performing all shipboard logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, executing, expediting, researching, monitoring, and/or evaluating logistics actions. You will provide wide-ranging logistics support during Combat System Assessment Team (CSAT) events. You will document findings, maintain adequate recording keeping, and develop high-level presentations to effectively communicate results to Shipboard and Command Leadership Teams. You will demonstrate knowledge of technical logistics concepts, principles, theories, practices and techniques. You will provide technical supply/logistics support and Casualty Report (CASREP) tracking related to all issues or concerns from the Aegis, Ship Self Defense System (SSDS), Amphibious, and Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) fleet. You will act as a consultant to management on assigned supply/logistics processes including process standardization/enhancement, guidance and policy.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 grade level equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, coordinating or evaluating logistics actions and requirements to support shipboard logistics management operations for a combat or weapon system assessment program.
