Duties

You will provide effective and efficient management of official calendars for the Senior Enlisted Leader. You will answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls for front office and maintain VIP telephone listing. You will make official travel arrangements for Senior Leaders in accordance with travel regulations.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Applicant must be able to type at least 40 words per minute.

Qualifications

GS-07 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Working knowledge of processing procedures and functions for a variety of computer application software such as Microsoft Office suite, Outlook email, or similar system. Communicating clearly and effectively with others both verbally and in written format. Providing administrative services such as managing calendars, making travel arrangements, and answering and routing phone calls. Preparing reports and correspondences on a daily basis. GS-06 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Communicating clearly and effectively with others both verbally and in written format. Providing administrative services such as managing calendars, making travel arrangements, and answering and routing phone calls. Preparing reports and correspondences on a daily basis.
