You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the CYBER ENGINEERING & DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION DIRECTORATE of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT.
Duties
You will be responsible for the primary interface and oversight function for shore-side information technology (IT) and data systems for the development, delivery, maintenance, and use of digital and hard-copy products, security, and data.
You will serve as the lead and technical subject matter expert for the implementation of a readiness modeling and simulation suite that encompasses the inclusion of systems engineering and logistics product data from acquisition through sustainment.
You will be responsible for translating and aligning logistics product data to the authoritative IT systems for the development of a readiness at cost model.
You will keep abreast of Information Assurance and Cyber Security requirements, practices, and protocols, and be an expert adviser to senior management and others regarding issues, schedules, challenges, risks, exemptions, and impacts.
You will assist in portfolio management of IT systems to include cost, schedule, and performance.
You will track and manage Cyber issues and Cyber certifications that impact logistics systems in the submarine community, afloat and ashore.
You will Lead the Digital Readiness Model Based Product Support (MBPS) Working Group for the transition from legacy LogIT and then for sustainment problems/issues resolutions.
You will facilitate, assist, track, and report metrics for user accounts on MBPS for Digital Readiness users and data providers.
You will have experience with Navy acquisition, Integrated Product Support (IPS), sustainment to include regulations, policies, processes, budget management, IT systems, and product analysis in support of US Fleet operations.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (or GS-11 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading logistical management functions related to data migration, performance, transition/upgrade of IT capabilities, budget management, or integrated product support for submarine sustainment efforts.
