About the Position: This position is located in the Department of Military Engineering, 1st Engineer Brigade, U.S. Army Engineer School, Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, bordering Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2-hour drive east and Springfield is a 1-hour drive west of Fort Leonard Wood.

Duties

Design or revise training courses to conform to existing guidelines and precedents. Adapt existing training materials or methods to comply with updated information and doctrine. Ensure the design of test instruments and training materials are technically accurate. Perform periodic observation of training sessions to evaluate effectiveness of training. Conduct validity and reliability studies to detect trends or weak areas. Make recommendations to supervisor for course improvements.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
