You will serve as a BUSINESS SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the MAGTF Training Directorate (MTD) of OFFICE OF THE COMMANDING GENERAL.

Duties

You will coordinate contract deliverables, price adjustments, material substitutions, reporting requirements, and other problems of a similar nature You will transform validated requirements into suitable Performance Work Statements (PWS) or Statements of Work (SOW) and other required. contracting documentation. You will prepare or support the preparation and issuance of solicitation documents. You will support the drafting of final contracts including specification, packing and shipping requirements, inspection instruction, and all other special and standard clauses. You will assure compliance with procurement regulations and established office policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • Misuse of Government IT systems is cause for disciplinary action, up to and including removal from government service.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: supporting the creation of contractual agreements, explain contract clauses, specifications, purchase descriptions requirements, and terms of purchase pertaining to military training. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related
