You will serve as a MANAGEMENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the Capabilities Development Directorate (CDD) of MARINE CORPS COMBAT DEVELOPMENT CMD.

Duties

You will provide planning, coordination of resources, services, and administrative management services essential to the operation of CDD. You will assist in the organization, development, formulation, and execution of policies as they pertain to the administrative functions and day-to-day operations. You will develop command guidance relating to the security of material to ensure that material is not compromised, sabotaged, subject to theft, or willful interference. You will review and analyze orders, plans, and correspondence (to include classified and unclassified e-mail) for specified and implied mission requirements. You will attend staff conferences, various meetings, compiles statistical data for presentation and distribution to show how specific security problems affect the command. You will review completed editorial work of action officers and ensure final reviews are completed within established guidelines and deadlines.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing security guidance, using programs (e.g. Defense travel Administration) to ensure the accuracy of all travel related to administrative and operational procedures. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree

OR

Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree

OR
