You will serve as a GG-0343-09 Management Specialist in the S-1 Directorate of Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA). This position is located at HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will serve as an entry/developmental management specialist and perform basic tasks to develop, analyze, evaluate, advise on or enhance the effectiveness of organizational structures and procedures.
You will perform assignments associated with the analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness of programs and operations.
You will utilize analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to analyze and evaluate information thus obtained on the basis of reliability and credibility of source, and significance of information.
You will participate in the maintenance of data base(s) for the assigned function.
You will evaluate relevant material as to its importance and extract all significant data pertaining to the assigned subject matter.
You will review, on a preliminary basis, management analyses or contributions to studies or reports prepared by other government agencies.
Requirements

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.

- This position may require a 2-Year DCIPS trial period requirement.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Conduct educational classes on substance abuse to members of the organization, administer urinalysis tests in accordance with current orders and directives and maintain liaison with the local Consolidated Substance Abuse Counseling Center (CSACC).
Assist with updating databases, completing paperwork, resolving customer complaints, corresponding with customer, and maintaining files.
Generate and maintain rosters, statistics, and personnel records that are required for Command Chronology and Command use.
Provide Military Personnel (MILOPERS) Division level support for Marines within the Command, Marine Corps Cryptologic Support Battalion (MCSB), and the Defense Attaché Officer (DAO).

Recent Grad
Recent graduates who completed a qualifying associates, bachelors, masters, professional, doctorate, vocational or technical degree or certificate within the last two years of the closing date of the announcement.
