You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the Camera and Video Systems Engineering and Sustainment Branch (D65) of the Network and Digital Systems Sustainment Division (D60) of the Digital Engineering Department (D00) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, Port Hueneme Division, Port Hueneme, California.
Duties
You will serve as a Team Lead providing technical service and support in the execution of work for development, test and evaluation, and ship installation of Legacy Camera and Video Distribution systems in U.S. and allied ships or shore facilities,
You will provide expert services in accomplishment of technical efforts relative to Fleet Support, equipment assessment, investigation, analysis, evaluation, faults and corrective recommendations for systems,
You will advise on Legacy Camera and Video Distribution systems, Processing and Conversion equipment, Aegis Computer and LAN Systems, Peripherals, Video Projection, and Processing and Conversion equipment,
You will also apply your expertise in Camera and Television Systems, COTS computers and operating systems, networking equipment, and related interfacing AEGIS Video systems relating to Combat Systems components,
You will provide performance reviews of the results, developmental approach, evaluation of new concepts and design approaches, and assessment of functional compatibility,
You will assist in scheduling and execution of technical alterations and related tasks,
You will develop and review documentation or specifications for entire system, process support requests, and conduct engineering reviews to determine problematic hardware or software,
You will provide project and task planning and execution of assignments pertaining to complex in-service engineering agent (ISEA) services for Legacy Camera and Video Distribution Systems,
You will advise on advanced technology tools and maintenance support requirements,
You will serve as a project lead and recognized expert for projects associated with design, in-service engineering, installation, operation and maintenance of equipment,
You will advise a comprehensive program relative to the establishment or technical review of overall system design, operational performance, intra and inter-systems and ship and ship support interfaces involved in integration of major subsystems.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) or grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing technical service and support in the execution of work for development, test and evaluation, and ship installation of Legacy Camera and Video Distribution systems in U.S. and allied ships or shore facilities to optimize operational capabilities.
