You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the TEST AND EVALUATION MANAGEMENT DIVISION, COMBAT SYSTEMS TEST AND EVALUATION DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER PORT HUENEME DIVISION.
Duties
You will serve as Navy Test Officer (NTO) directing other technical personnel in support Test and Evaluation events.
You will be responsible for the overall project and technical leadership in planning, coordinating, and executing complex Test and Evaluation campaigns.
You will provide on-site representation for Program Office, NSWC PHD, and act as the single point of contact for Test and Evaluation events.
You will be responsible for the conduct of the Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) mission and represent the Program Sponsor and the Commander of NSWC PHD during execution of test events.
You will support Aegis Combat System Ship Qualification Trials (CSSQT), AEGIS Ballistic Missile Defense (ABMD), or Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and Combat System Test and Evaluation, processes, practices, and procedures.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing engineering requirements to develop and implement test plans for shipboard weapon systems projects.
