You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Policy and Standards Division of the TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.

Duties

You will assist the Branch Head in identifying, prioritizing, and developing solutions that inform Marine Corps Training and Education plans, programs, and policies and is recognized as an authority in the assessment and sustainment of programs. You will provide an agile, timely, and responsive means of addressing individual and collective service-level training gaps. You will receive, validate, and analyze lessons learned from operational deployments, exercises, the results of service-Level training exercises, and home station unit evaluations to analyze, identify, and report service-level training trends. You will manage, direct, coordinate, and review actions and activities associated with command programs to ensure they are in consonance with established policies and procedures and are meeting intended goals. You will maintain situational awareness of ongoing Joint, Service and naval standardization and interoperability initiatives in order to mitigate potential impacts and contributions as non-material solutions in warfighting capabilities integration.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) identifying and validating trends using various sources and analytical tools; 2) demonstrating advanced use of Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint to research, analyze, and draw conclusions on trends; 3) managing, directing, coordinating, and reviewing actions and activities of a program to ensure they are in consonance with established policies and procedures and are meeting intending program goals; and 4) communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, and presenting statistical information in front of large groups and stakeholders to justify changes and process improvement to an organization.
