You will serve as a Counter Threat Finance Analyst in the Counter Threat Finance Branch of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Duties
You will work with the U.S. Government Interagency Community, Joint Commands, and Coalition Partner Nation Agencies, and U.S. PACOM Component Commands to develop strategies and plans to stop financial support to illicit threat networks
You will evaluate reports by analyzing financial information, relevant facts, and performing appropriate research
You will be responsible for activities associated with identifying, detecting, targeting and interdicting terrorist and/or illicit criminal finance activities
Requirements

- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
GS13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: : 1) Utilizing knowledge of Counter Threat Finance programs, systems, missions, policies and regulations to ensure activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements ad meets the customers' operational needs; 2) Analyzing and planning actions on or effects against financial support networks that are associated with and/or facilitating terrorist networks; 3) Developing processes to leverage U.S. government finance-related instruments of power; and 4) Organizing and leading others in comprehensive studies or projects and preparing accurate, technically sound, recommendations.
GS12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in the utilization of knowledge of Counter Threat Finance programs, systems, missions, policies and regulations to ensure activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements ad meets the customers' operational needs; 2) Aiding in the analyzation and planning actions on or effects against financial support networks that are associated with and/or facilitating terrorist networks; 3) Helping peers in developing processes to leverage U.S. government finance-related instruments of power; and 4) Assisting in organizing and leading others in comprehensive studies or projects and preparing accurate, technically sound, recommendations.
