Duties
The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a program analyst/manager, applying military operational experience in the planning, directing, organizing, execution, reporting of assigned command, control, communication, computer, intelligence, surveillance, & reconnaissance (C4ISR) programs; to evaluate issues and development recommendations to resolve substantive problems/issues of effectiveness and suitability in major joint service/command programs.
Duties:
Works with acquisition and operational community in planning, developing, and executing end to end testing of major of Joint, Air Force, and MAJCOM C4ISR systems to support one of more of the following areas
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
Provides technical guidance, leadership, advisory support, and assistance on an entire project and/or major phases for broad and varied operations.
Prepresents 605 TES with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

- This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use (AFI 44-107).
- Work requires frequent travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.

This is a Centrally Managed Position in the Operations Career Field. PCS will be paid in accordance with JTR Vol. 2 and applicable Air Force Regulations.
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions, Management and Program Analysis 0343.
FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. NOTE: Applicants applying as VEOA candidates who are current GS civil service employees or are prior GS civil service employees within the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of DOD & Air Force Acquisition and Test guidance.
Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.
Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Knowledge of and skill in the application of military operations expertise as it applies to assigned programs.
Knowledge of the relationship of the various Air Force entities involved in overall planning and execution of military operations and evaluations.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
