You will serve as a Training Specialist in the Operations Department of Training Command

Duties

You will perform a variety of routine duties relative to instructional systems research, development, design, implementation, evaluation, and task analysis for the management of the organization's Program of Instruction (POI) Process. You will lead or participate in staff integration actions to support the development, review, validation and sustainment of training standards, training programs and training resources across multiple POIs. You will study technical material and make field visits to determine the scope and content of course. You will serve as Program of Instruction (POI) specialist and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Systems Approach to Training and Education (SATE) process. You will conduct thorough evaluation of all POIs for compliance with directives, effectiveness, and accuracy.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Serving as a Program of Instruction (POI) and curriculum specialist and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Systems Approach to Training and Education (SATE) process AND facilitating the development, design and implementation of instructional programs for a command or organization.
