You will serve as a Navy Mobilization Affairs Specialist in the Deployment Processing Command/Reserve Support Unit East located in Camp Lejeune, NC.
Duties
You will advise the command element on incoming Navy Augmentations, medical processing and administrative support
You will provide oversight of the medical processing and certification of Reserve Component marines and DOD civilian contraction through the mobilization and demobilization process
You will plan and carry out reviews of mobilization/demobilization programs, analyze and evaluate reports and condition to recommend action to higher echelon command
You will be responsible for establishing criteria for identifying and analyzing errors and inadequacies for securing, and in measuring organizational effectiveness in meeting and achieving mobilization/demobilization goals and objectives

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
applying a wide range of DOD and active component structures, policies, regulations and principles in order to review, analyze and resolve difficulty mobilization/ demobilization issues. I have experience advising on the health and welfare of staff, include all matters pertaining to mobilization/demobilization of personnel. Examples of specialized experience may include 1) Manage and sustain Navy manning Levels to support the mission; 2) Guide and direct all navy personnel, permanent and mobilized units; 3) Ensure that command medical and dental readiness in tracked and maintained at or above the level as set by commanding officer.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-11 SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience, provided it demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position: possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, LL.M, or have completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate level education leading to such a degree. One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement.
GS-11 COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Combinations of successfully completed graduate education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements.
