You will serve as the Deputy, Civilian Manpower Resources Manager in the Marine Forces Reserve/Marine Forces South, AC/S, G1 of MARFORRES NOLA.
Duties
You will provide technical advice and procedural guidance to the Executive Director, MARFORRES on all civilian staffing and structure issues.
You will provide oversight as the senior manpower analyst managing multiple program areas, to include incentives, performance management and local awards..
You will assist with the command training budget, track obligations, reports, reconciliations, and balances.
You will orchestrate the issuance of TDY for training and PCS orders for new employees.
You will oversee the on-boarding and orientation/Civilian Marine acculturation for newly hired personnel.
You will plan reorganizations, such as consolidations, realignment of functions and works closely with the servicing HRO with the implementation of new Table of Organizations (T/Os).
You will serve as the focal point for staff advice and coordination on all matters pertaining to civilian manpower.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Demonstrating expertise in civilian manpower, utilizing various staffing platforms such as USASTAFFING, Total Workforce Management Services, and Defense Civilian Personnel Data System; 2) Initiating and tracking the submission of civilian personnel requests; 3) Coordinating studies on organizational structure, providing technical advice on structure issues, internal reorganizations, and civilian staffing; 4) Performing staff functions, initiating and executing significant projects for program enhancement.
