As a Program Support Specialist in the Knowledge Sharing and Analysis Office (KSAO) at the NASA Safety Center (NSC) you will be responsible for managing the development and dissemination of a broad range of technical and administrative materials in support of NSC programs, products, and services. You will provide technical and logistical support for high visibility Safety and Mission Assurance (SMA) events and perform program management activities for the NSC.
Duties
Prepares technical and administrative materials. Writes, reviews, and edits a broad materials portfolio including informational articles, fact sheets, annual reports, videos, emails, and executive biographies.
Designs and prepares internal programmatic briefing materials using a variety of communication methods. Determines most expeditious/appropriate avenues for disseminating information to stakeholders/customers to achieve maximum effectiveness.
Develops and promotes safety awareness campaigns. Works with organizational customers to identify campaign topics, needed materials and recommended distribution methods. Monitors and directs contractor activities that support program execution.
Develops and executes implementation and communication strategies for highly visible safety programs and projects by considering focus areas to emphasize as well as the most effective, appropriate, and expeditious means to achieve desired outcomes.
Works with program managers to identify communication needs, disseminate policy decisions and advise on impacts of policy changes on Center personnel, developing strategies to mitigate concerns.
Provides technical, logistical, and communications support to NSC and SMA programs and projects. Plans and manages the content and design of internal websites to ensure that posted information is accurate, timely, and relevant.
Produces knowledge sharing events, including webinars, panel discussions and working group meetings. Oversees the coordination and promotion of large virtual events and in-person events.
Collects and evaluates metrics and feedback. Applies a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to analyze and measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of NSC and SMA program materials.
Advises on improvements to content and platforms. Plans and coordinates implementation of process improvements to improve overall product quality.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level:
Supporting the development and implementation of comprehensive communication plans/awareness campaigns to achieve organizational goals;
Writing and editing a broad portfolio of information materials for a diverse audience to support program communication goals (e.g. newsletters, fact sheets, feature stories, annual reports, video scripts, emails and executive bios);
Planning and managing the content of public and/or internal websites to ensure that posted information is accurate, up-to-date, relevant, and compliant with policies/regulations.
