You will serve as an ALTERATION INSTALLATION TEAM LEADER in the SPECIAL PROJECTS DIVISION CODE 124 under the OCEAN ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, CODE 120 of PSNS and IMF.
Duties
You will lead a Government Alteration Installation Team (AIT) of 40-60 production personnel and supporting engineers.
You will be responsible for all AIT actions, engineering changes, integration, mobilization, installation, removal and logistics activities for approved Temporary Alteration (TEMPALT) ship sets.
You will ensure transportation, shipboard equipment systems and personnel are ready to support mobilization activities in local and remote locations.
You will coordinate with the project manager to ensure budgets and expenditures are in line with customer expectations and a continual monitoring process is in place to identify required changes in budgets.
You will anticipate and assure resolution of problems arising from schedule conflicts, design deficiencies, quality assurance issues, variations in production requirements, and a variety of other conditions.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating production for submarine Temporary Alteration installations and removals to meet deployed mission requirements.
