You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the Aviation Maintenance/Logistics Department of CNATRA.

Duties

You will utilize various automated systems to extract information for the resolution of support equipment, supply/logistics, and data discrepancies. You will ensure Support Equipment Management System (SEMS) allowances are accurate, equipment status codes are reported correctly, and support equipment random and annual inventory is accomplished. You will distribute support equipment throughout operating sites as required, and approve/disapprove support equipment disposition requests. You will track annual inventory completion for all operating sites. You will direct the movement of support equipment to fill temporary or permanent requirements. You will utilize various supply/logistics databases and spreadsheet software to conduct extensive and exhaustive searches of supply transactions. You will perform a wide variety of record keeping, updating supply/logistics system data and reporting in support of system programs.

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing automated systems to maintain accountability of supply records, resolve supply data discrepancies, or conduct searches of supply transactions to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations. In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

One full year of graduate level education that is directly related to the position being filled;
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
