Job opening: ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST

Salary: $42 870 - 92 995 per year

You will serve as a ADMINITRATIVE SPECIALIST in the Cyber Development and Acquisitions Branch (Code 58420) of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.

Duties

You will perform Acquisition functions for agile business systems and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for Code 584 and supported programs and must possess understanding of the NIWC Pacific COR roles and responsibilities. You will analyze the contractor data and prepare summary reports and deliver briefings for PMs based on evaluations of contractor's compliance with the contract. You will perform acquisition developmental assignments and work within a team environment to complete product system requirements following established DoN policies and regulations. You will monitor contracts for adherence to contract requirements regarding cost, scheduling, and manpower. You will conduct research and investigate new/improved business practices.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

NO:03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band NO-02 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Monitor IT service contracts for adherence to contract requirements regarding cost, scheduling, and manpower. NO:02: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the 04 grade level or pay band NO-01 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Monitor IT service contracts for adherence to contract requirements regarding cost, scheduling, and manpower. In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

1 full year of graduate level education

superior academic achievement
