You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Department of Intelligence and Information Sharing (DIIS) of NCIS.
All Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) positions are in the excepted service. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.

Duties
You will analyze and provide feedback to management on the effectiveness and efficiency of the Directorate of Intelligence and Information Sharing (DIIS) workflow.
You will manage a variety of internal tracking databases and assist supervisors and employees of the directorate with processing of a number of administrative tasks.
You will develop, analyze, evaluate, and advise/improve, and implement support services and process across the directorate.
You will manage the DIIS annual budget to ensure funds are used in accordance with the NCIS operating budget.
You will manage DIIS procurement and acquisition activities, ensuring timely processing and delivery of equipment and supplies.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing various administrative tasks, such as, budget, file management, procurement, acquisition, travel, time and attendance, and evaluate work process and/or cost effectiveness in program execution.
GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting with managing of various administrative tasks, such as, budget, file management, procurement, acquisition, travel, time and attendance.

Education
GS-11: Applicants may substitute specialized experience with meeting one or more of the education requirements below:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
