Duties
Provide oversight and management of major activities related to the DLA Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program.
Plan, direct, coordinate and organize in-depth analyses of the organization’s management controls and related program requirements in compliance with DoD guidelines.
Initiate development, improvement, and implementation of policy statements, practices, methods and procedures necessary to ensure the ERM Program operates effectively.
Serve as a functional expert who recommends innovative solutions to address issues, and ensures effectiveness, accuracy and consistency of the program in addressing the assessment of risks to the mission.
Provides expertise to personnel at all levels of the organization to foster awareness of the ERM program, assists in assessing risk, and conducts ERM program training.
Effectively and efficiently supporting the administrative and operating functions of DLA’s ERM Program.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Management and Program Analyst (Internal Controls) your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Serving as a team member of an organization's Enterprise Risk Management or Internal Controls program.
Developing strategies, policies, procedures, and other communication products to support the implementation or Agency-wide or organizational ERM efforts.
Managing an Agency-wide program and demonstrating the management of requirements, development of plans, mitigation of issues, and achieve specific milestones and objectives,
Delivering training and guidance, facilitating project teams, mediating conflicts and supporting DLA organizations as a liaison to support their understanding of ERM issues.
Developing and reporting Agency-wide performance and compliance metrics, and monitoring processes to capture those metrics.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
