Duties
You will build software applications using programming language, integrated development environments, scripting language, and source code repositories.
You will develop software applications using programming languages (e.g., Visual Basic.Net, C#, HTML, VBA, XML, Java Scripting, SharePoint Designer) and Microsoft (MS) Office software.
You will analyze programming code to find errors that would cause a program to produce a false result or fail.
You will translate technical specifications into programming specifications.
You will perform the proper security scans for all custom software and remediates all software vulnerabilities.
You will upon completion of testing, implement program and provides training to customers on the utilization of application programs, including methods to acquire needed information.

- This position requires Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) at the IASAE Level II mandatory within six months of assignment to position, as required by DoDI 8570.1-X.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: .
As the software programmer you will be responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining new or existing application software using a variety of programming languages and tools: participate in the planning and execution of systems testing, providing support on execution problems, and modifying applications: resolve a full range of customer complex problems including form all levels: and partner with senior leaders to verify available resources (e.g., funding, staffing, equipment) to meet information technology (IT) program objectives.
